Lengthening CZ-858 folder?

So after the opposition parties shot themselves in the foot by staging the election, I ran out and bought a CZ-858 with the folding metal stock.

I love the rifle with a depraved and unholy passion. I love all my guns that way, but the CZ is just such a great rifle it inspires even more depravity than usual.

I have only one issue with the rifle; while the folding stock is wonderful, it's also about an inch too short, and when shooting the thing prone, the receiver bumps me in the nose with every shot (I'm 6'2", and wondering whether the Czech military are all 5'4" as that seems to be the size of shooter the folders were designed for). It's not hard enough to hurt, but it is a little annoying.

Has anybody tried to lengthen the folder? I've bodged something up with duct tape and foam, but aside from confirming that 1" more LOP is all I need, it looks butt-ugly. It's occurred to me to buy a second folder from Wolverine, cut both in two, and weld the different halves back together to make one longer stock.

Any thoughts on this?

Not a bad option or you could fab a 1 inch spacer to fit between the stock and the reciever and just bolt one to the other.

I was just going to suggest cut and weld. The finishing part will be the tough one, that odd ball paint they used will be a pain to match.

Thing is, I really like the factory folder except for the LOP issue.

Get AK rubber butt pad it fits perfectly SKSMAN has them or any Hong Kong airsoft outlet carries them

his height may still not give him enough room. I think? I'm around 5' 8" and squared up with a t-shirt gives me just enough. If I turn my shoulders from the target I get bumped by the sling mount. Thats just standing, not prone. And nobody in there right mind will be wearing winter clothing for quite a few more months. I'd say either the AK pad murat suggested or cut the buttplate off, fab up and weld on a new one to accept an aftermarket rifle/shotgun kind of pad. You can find some decently long ones at most places that sell them. Kind of like the butler creek side folder

Mind you, it is an excellent excuse for me to run out and buy a tac vest.

Just by way of update, the pad arrived today. It fit fine, but the folder won't lock folded with it on. Other than that, I think it'll do the trick...
