lens cover, flip-cap recomendations

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations on flip caps for my newly acquired scope (vortex razor hd lht 4.5-22x50), also if someone wouldn't mind confirming weather or not the scope caps go by OD of the objective and ocular lenses

You can get the cheap butler creek caps, or the slightly better vortex caps. The vortex caps are better, and fit nicer, hold better.

Or you can get the tenebraex caps. Little more, but they are again better than the others available.

I recently bought a few Butler Creeks flip caps via Amazon.
I measures them with a ruler and went to the selection chart and ordered from what I had in mm.
Worked great , arrived in a few days and was ezee-pezee.

If I was using a vortex I’d use vortex covers, they look well built. That said I’ve yet to break a set of butler creek’s, which I have on multiple rifles.

Butler creek makes a new one that is supposed to be somewhat adjustable and has dope cards. Vortex defender are also pretty cool with the dope inserts. If you feel like splurging tennebrex are pretty sweet.
