Questar can get you want you want. Just takes time. I used them before to import my custom pistol from Florida. Good to deal with and make everything easy for you.

...seen and played with a couple, they are nice guns...though anyone thinking they will outperform a standard AR that has been re-barreled with something like a Krieger will be disappointed...the matched upper and lower have more to do with end-user confidence than real accuracy...

What model does he have?

From looking at the site, it looks like it was the thunder ranch. The only beef I had with it was that it had a 1 in 9, although that looks to be an option. Other then that, it looked like it would go in the pile of well made ARs that you can buy or build.
