I've been looking around a bit, and I'm having a hard time finding an optic that is quality yet reasonably priced. I would love to buy a "Trijicon" or an "Elcan Spectre" but i can't justify spending $1500 on an optic that I'll only be using at the range. I recently heard about the Lucid HD7 and I'm wondering if its worth the 300 bucks. Does anyone have one? If so can you let me know what you think about it.

Lucid HD7 is a great sight for the money, no doubt about it. In some ways I prefer it to my Aimpoint T1 that cost me considerably more.

There are many threads that discuss the sight if you search the forum, and many other good reviews to be found if you Google.

As well, they come up on the EE fairly often at under $250, which is how I acquired mine.

Bushnell also makes something, but I've no idea what their costs are as I've not seen them advertised by any of CGN's sponsors.

Thats a pretty good looking scope. I just googled it and it seems to go for about $150.
The dot size is 3 MOA though. I'm fairly new at this but that seems pretty big, doesn't it.
