Hey,
I finally got myself a precision rifle. It's pretty basic at the moment. I'm going to have to change the scope and the base/rings pretty soon since I plan on shooting at 200 yards and up. Not sure it has enough clicks. cost me 750$

If you ever want to "trade-down" that 8-32x to say a 4-16x 4200 let me know, I've got one on my silhouette gun and I'd like a little more mag.

A set of Burris Zee rings or a tapered base should get you out there.
Cheers,
Grant

Looks very similar to my setup except I have Burris Tac rings, Farrel -20 base and Jewel HVR trigger.

I predict you'll be very pleased with the range results.

Nice rig.

Hey,
Not sure it has enough clicks.

Irene is a better long range rig than I started with. The quick and easy way to determine the maximum range for long range shooting is to fire a group at 100 yards with your adjustment maxed out. By measuring the bullet impact above your point of aim, you can determine Irene's maximum range with your particular load with the use of an on line ballistics program. While long range shooters like to have 30" of elevation at 100, you likely have enough adjustment (18") to take you out to 600 yards, which is still a long way out there.

I bought my 700P about a yearago. And while I have yet to name my 700p, I am still enamoured of her. She may look quite plain, but she shoots much better I can. I put a EGW ( if I remember rightly) 20 MOA base under the scope and have shot out to 600 yards with loads of adjustment left.
