Looking for a fellow Nutt who would allow me to try out their swiss arms 550 or 552.
so if your in the GTA and wouldn't mind some time then drop me a line.
just want put some down the barrel in order to try before purchase.
or are they so good i should just pony up and buy one?

If you are in the GTA area, you should contact Target Sport Center. Not sure if they still have any in stock, they might be able to hook you up with a demo if you are serious about it.

Or you can just buy it and let us know how much you love it

I'm with Armedsask, if you're in the $3,000 rifle budget bracket, just buy it, then you can be a rifle snob with all the other lucky b*st*rds :D

Ah, but there the other $3000 dollar rifles to try! Like the Tavor, or the new MP-44 from Marstar...

Like the 'boyz' sez...if you have the coin, buy one.
I have the Black Special and the CQB....two cornerstones of my battery...
Nuff said.

On a more serious note, the 2nd hand price of these things has come down a bit over the last couple years, but overall, people don't usually lower the used prices on their SIGs much below cost.
That said, I'm sure you can pick up a used SIG for around $2600, then turn around and sell it a week later for the same amount with no problems. Just keep your eyes peeled on the forums.

This thread is funny. Yesterday at TSE I had to tell one of the guys to "get that thing away from me, right now."

That thing was a Swiss Arms CQB. Had he not removed it from my sight, I might have done something rash and bought it on the spot.

Damn are those cool!

If you want to drive up to the Guelph Rod and Gun club on Saturday, I could probably let you try mine. PM me.

Most places are pretty close. The $2995 mark is pretty much par. As mentioned before, if you're looking for a used one, the CGN EE forums here are a great resource for a good deal.

I got to try a Black Special on Sunday and I would trade my AR-15 for one anyday! Non-restricted if you want and a very nice package. Just have to get used to rocking the mag out. I think when the cash is saved up I will be storing one in my safe when its not in use. Just buy one you wont be disappointed!

check out P&D in Edmonton, if you want a brand new one, they had a good deal on it just over 2 (2. 3 or 4 I think) I am not sure, once I heard 2 I quit listening.
