Tod, that's even more boring than Cat's wants.
Isn't there ANYTHING classic or completely unobtainable or both that you'd love?

C'mon Kombi, it's obvious he's just new to the shooting sports world. He just needs more exposure.

I'm suprised people don't have more specifics in what they want in their dream rifle. Takes too long to type I guess!

Funny how you don't see any short mags on the list. :dancingbanana:
.
That'[s because I already own a 6.5WSSM, and a 6.5 WSM in highwalls!:D
Got the 45/70 also, but I would really like more time to shoot the rfiles I own.
If I don't use them I tend to get rid of them.....

3 guns

I think the first one I want is a new 98 Mauser Magnum in .458 Lott:D
The next would be a 45-110 Sharps:rockOn:
The last would be a Mannlicher style rifle in .275 Rigby:wave:
I like Remington, but they are boring and don't even make the list of wants.:slap:

First off I would contract one of our finer Canadian gunsmiths (a few come to mind from this board). For well paid several months slavery with no distractions. We'd go with

An FN Mauser action detailed and spoiled to the nines with stupid gorgeous wood in 35 calibre or such. Leupy VX111 2.5x8. :)

A Springfield M1A in 7.62 done up to make target spec rifles look sick. (for when the zombies finally come). Leupy FX111 6x

A new stainless 375 Ruger of which pretty much everything will be thrown away from and we'll go from there. With a fibregass stock, ewe, I hate those things.. Glass it like above.

no. I want accurate dependable tools I can enjoy using. there is a keyword in there, can you find it?

tb

What a narrow minded blurb from someone with no experience with anything besides one boring brand name of rifles.:slap:
Maybe it would have been better if your mom had a "headache' that night.

As a picture is supposedly worth a thousand words, if anyone could post them for me I have three pictures. I haven't figured out how to post:redface:  so, if someone can PM me their e-mail address I'll send them.
