Lethbridge, 3 Gun Match, Sat. Sept 6 2014

Hi Dave, Nic, everyone in Lethbridge. My registration is complete.

Over a decade ago Jim and I hosted one of if not the first 3 gun match in Lehtbridge. We built the go cart on the ramp, charging target system and the math question in the peanut butter jar for the bianchi cup mover. (I think I have pictures of Kevin and Al riding that cart somewhere...) So much fun!!! I've been out in Medicine Hat now for 8 years and always look forward to getting a chance to come back and shoot at my old range.

Thanks again,
Dev

Last I heard only 10 people have registered AND paid. Don't forget until you've paid Dave you're not really registered! Make sure you get into the match. Space is limited and it's 1st come 1st serve!

We still have 20 spots left for adults to come play with us. :) Come on out if you are in the area! The youth match on Friday eve is almost sold out though, so get off the fence if you are riding the rail.

Youth interest has been so high I think we are going to have a regular 3-gun league just for under 18 during 2015.

Thanks everyone for helping make this a reality.

A couple of guys from MHRRC sent registration information and EMTs to the david.green25@gmail.com listed on the registration page and haven't had any confirmation back. I know my EMT hasn't been processed yet. Is the gmail account working?

3 gun league for under 18, awesome! Hope it's a success.

Hey army cat David was tied up over the weekend and was trying to get things processed although when I spoke with him this afternoon he said it was looking like tomorrow morning. If you want to pm me your name I can check the registration system to make sure it's in there?
Thanks for the shout out to our youth. We are lucky our youth program has had an amazing summer, we sponsored kids to the AHEIA Hunter Ed Camps and this last weekend had 13 take their Black Badge course so they could shoot their first real match this month or next. -

Can you talk to my wife?
Get her to let me come out and play?

As LFGA Community Relations Chair, I actually have a form letter for this! ;)

Except now a days it's often the wife/girlfriend asking for one because she wants to shoot and the husband's/boyfriends too cheap to buy the ammo! (that's the case in my house with four female shooters, I can only afford to take up knitting myself!)

Hello armycat,

Sorry about the delay - everyone who has sent an emt should be processed now.
Looking to be a very fun day! The out of towers are outnumbering the locals for registration - should be some friends being made.

See you all very soon.
We still have some spots left! :)

Funny,

Someone already wrote a letter to my wife asking for me to go to that shoot.
I then gave it to my mom to read out at a family dinner.

She said "I'll think about it". So THAT bit of peer pressure didn't work :)

BUT, if you do indeed have a letter, I will take it and try :D PM me if you got one.

GreenIce and Oldways, thanks for the replies. Got my confirmation, so life is good. I know all too well how hard it can be to stay on top of these sort of things. Can't wait to shoot this match, it looks like its going to be a blast.

We are really looking forward to having all our CGN friends come to the shoot. If you need any thing or help with something before you get here let us know, between David, Nick, and myself we will get it sorted! If anyone wants to shoot this morning before we close the facility down at noon email me and I'll set you up with what you need and an RO you so you can shoot.

In my hotel room licking my wounds. Nice job ladies and gentlemen. Thanks to the match director, sponsors, range staff and volunteers that put this match together. Things ran a little longer the planned, like they normally do, but I had a blast. Didn't shoot the well but had a blast and stole a few ideas for MHRRC. Hopefully there will be a repeat next year.

Here's my footage from today, such as it is. Thanks to Dave and everyone else who was involved. It was a blast. (pun always intended)

Currently it's still uploading and says it's going to take a while. At some point it'll be done and the video will show up. I'm going to bed!

Thanks to all those who had a part in putting this match together. As for the sponsors, I will continue to support your businesses with my wallet.
