I will post the pictures later, but I want to know your thoughts as to what the accuracy was like.

I was shooting 55gr hornady vmax, 34gr of IMR 4895 to a loaded muzzle velocity of 3600 FPS.

After chasing the 4 mulie does from the 300yard marker, the shoot was underway. (walked up to them and threw rocks)

I was using a bipod and was sitting at the bench when I was firing. What are your thoughts?

I figure it must've been spectacular...come on - let's see some pictures!

Cool about the Mulie's at the target marker. :)

I find I can't get very good groups with anything over 50 gr with my stevens 200.

I've tried many different loads and the best would be around 1.25'' at 100.

Mine loves 40gr and 50 gr VMax loaded with 39gr of H380 or 37gr of varget. Easily groups 1'' or less consistantly.

I'm really interested in how yours shoots as I gave up on heavier bullets.

It was actually kind of funny because I guessed it to be 250 yards. So when i walked up to see I was really confused and figured it was 300 yards. looking back at the range shed from 300, and it made more sense.

We will have to see what others say about how it performed... Plus I gotta figure how to get the scanner to work.

The first two were out of a cold barrel but the next two were decent enough. Not super spectacular but good enough to drop a wild dog with a good rest.

No matter what range, the first one is always out a bit with this gun.

I will post a pic of what the groups look like at 100 yards as well. It's okay if the first one drifts a little because I usually dont shoot for tight groups on yotes or gophers.

You gotta remember that stevens 200's are hunting rifles not benchrest professional grade rifles.:D Even so, I cant help but think this may be the best 600 dollars I ever spent on 2 rifles. (22.250 and 7-08)
