marlin 1893 full octagon in 38-55 black powder. Surprised to realize that is presently my only lever.

My second lever... 1892 Winchester trapper/takedown in 16inch - 357mag. My friend found it for me brand new on consignment at Reliable guns. So well balanced with a 16inch barrel.

I decided to experiment with alternative sights for my Win. m94 sporter and went with the XS ghost ring after reading a few reviews; I also liked the look of it a bit more than the other popular choices. Anyway, aside from discovering the front sight was (way) too loose when trying to install, I'm pretty happy with this decision! Hopefully I'll be able to get out to the range this week and let everyone know how it shoots!

The wood on yours is very much like the wood on my 1910 in .32-40. Yer metal is in much finer condition though.
