Here is my 1894c

I purchased it from a good friend of mine who is getting a little long in the tooth. He got me interested in cowboy action shooting and this was the first lever action i ever fired. I sort of lost interest in cowboy for a while and then bought all the kit for CAS 3 years ago. This spring i saw him sitting at a local swap meet with it on the table. Nobody was interested so i asked if he could do me the favor of putting it away as i really wanted it but didnt have the cash with me. He said if its for you to keep i will hold onto it. I kept my word, made some deals and 2 weeks later it was mine. He or I just couldn't see it go into some strangers grubby hands.
This ones not going anywhere!

Here's a nice Winchester Model 1886 in .50-110 caliber. It isn't mine and if it was, I'd probably sell it and pay off my house. ...

Woooowwwww !!! Thats gorgeous ...

Range report? More pics? I am looking at "pulling the trigger" on one of these...

I have the H012M in .357mag. Shot over 700 rounds through it last year with not a single stoppage or misfeed or anything going wrong ever. Reliable as a rock, pretty accurate, I have no hesitation to recommend it. I have never seen one single bad review of a Henry.

Here's a pic with a couple targets I shot at 100m from a rest-and-bag, first is commercial Am Eagle ammo, second is one of the handloads I'm experimenting with.

See, now this what happens when you go to Cabella's for a look around. You find Henry Golden Boys and Nikon P-Rimfire scopes on sale! Cool little plinker, loves Yellow Jackets too. I took it to the range yesterday and sighted it in, it puts 5 in ragged hole at 50 yards with them.

My current lever guns (plus one).
From top; Marlin 1894 Cowboy Special in .45 Colt , octagonal barrel. Marlin 1894c in .357mag / .38sp. (now sold to a new cowboy shooter) Uberti '73 in .357mag, short rifle, oct barrel, tricked out by Longhunter's shop in Texas. Uberti '73 Trapper in .357mag, short stroked and slicked up for cowboy matches by a magician at my club.

I recently sold this one to a very appreciative buyer out west but thought it was pretty enough to include here. It's a JM stamped Marlin 1894c in .357 / .38sp with particularly nice wood.

Winchester "Legendary Lawmen" 30-30 trapper carbine. (presently for sale in the EE)
