Lets get a some lever action #### going

No pics yet, I still have to pick it up. I just bought a Winchester 1892 in 38-40. Cool old gun, nice shiny bore, crisp rifling and still has a majority of its original blueing. Made in 1911. Seems to be a nice old gun.

Was eying a few 357 levers, don't have one and wanted one for a while. This was on sale, and a discontinued model from Chiappa, so figured better buy now.
Looks pretty nice, right and smooth, will get out and shoot it soon enough.

Tore that Chiappa down to pieces for a clean and lube, tip...that top screw, supposed to have a pin in it like a regular 92, it's not a pin, it's another screw requiring a smaller flat head driver to remove and comes out the same hole.
First and last time I tear one of these down...wheh on the patience lol.

Well isn't that a thing of beauty!

Those are beautiful. What exactly try are the slings? Did they come with when acquired or where did you get them? I'm running a dark brown ( they say it's black) Montana sling on my BLR
Hey Dog, Thanks, I am a sucker for Henry leather slings, they are tough, got great hardware and wear like iron, thats what those are, bought off henry usa site
