I bought a new Win 92 in 44 a while back and I can tell you they are a fine rifle and worth every penny if this type of rifle turns you on. It's not for the "one gun fits all" club but it fills a niche in my collection. The Rossi is IN MY OPINION a poorly made piece of junk compared to the new 92s from Miroku/Winchester.

Hear lots of bad opinions about Rossi guns by people who have never even held one in their hands who are for whatever reason just parroting negativity.
I own 2 older Amadeo Rossi SA M92s (.44 Mag, .45 LC) that don't have the silly safety nuts on the bolts and they are fine, very accurate guns.
The Rossis are a lot closer to the original John Browning model 92 design than the Miroku Japchesters with their cheep looking epoxy finishes, tang safeties and rebounding hammers and cost half the money.

I should really take some decent pics one day...

Back wall is 9 centennial model 94's, an 1894 carbine circa 1915, and a Model 94 classic circa 1967.

Not really seen are a model 1895 circa 1900 and a Savage 99c.

I just refinished the wood on this 1950's 336 RC.

It looks a lot better now. Shoots my cast bullets very well.

Just put it on the EE a few days ago, I have too many 336's....

My Fathers Suprise Winchester 1894

Did this as a project to surprise my father for all his support when I was attending school, and for his almost 4 decades of service in the RCMP... :)

Bare bones stock

To this...

Buttstock inletted for RCMP crest, stock completely redone to a handrubbed dull satin/semi-gloss finish, all accessory pieces Nitre Blued to a golden patina'd finish, his badge number, name and rank engraved in golden inlay on the chamber by David Clevinger of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America, and lighted lockable display case as well... He was more then happy, and I was too!.... :D

Wish I had my Rossi Ranch Hand/carbine dun .
12" barrel just putting on full but stock ,drilled and tap scout mount ,and a reflex sight will make a sweet SBR for Haii Gwaii deer.

I added a few short rifles to my collection. Here are some photos, but first some description, bottom to top:

1. 1894 Deluxe Short Rifle: 30WCF, 24" part octagon barrel, 1/2 mag, TD, 2X checkered PG wood, sling eyes.

2. 1894 Semi Deluxe Short Rifle: 32 SPL, 22" part octagon barrel, 1/2 mag, TD, fluted buttstock with hard rubber SGB.

3. 1894 Short Rifle: 32 SPL, 22" octagon barrel, 2/3 mag, Lyman #4 hunting front sight and Steel SGB. Receiver bluing wore off or cleaned, and a coat of something over the wood. Still scarce gun.

These pics are so poor, you can hardly see the checkering on the guns. It is still very good though, I style. Bluing on the 24" is much better than appears. Which I could get better taking these photos.
