Lets get a some lever action #### going

Some may notice the Marlin Guide Gun (GG) in the pictures and put two and two together. Others...may not.

Ha! some people just dont know the diff from a marlin guide gun (GG) to their great granny I guess.

Edit: I think my comment about supernova just killed this thread, no harm intended!

Lets see some pics of your levers fella's!

Well just got my second Marlin in the mail from another great CGN'er. Left is a 2007 336 35Rem right is a 336Y 30-30. May have to do something about that Birch stock but so far I really like it.

Picked this little gem up last week while scouting some areas in New Brunswick for guns. This classic Winchester Model 94 was manufactured in 1949 and was a one owner all these years. The rifle is in the hard to find .25-35 caliber and has a Lyman Micrometer Receiver # 56 Sight. A well cared for Classic Winchester which I was told put a lot of meat on the table for a Miramichi home back in the '50s.

Here's my Sako Finnwolf in 308...

Nice 94, Brian. You don't often see them in .25/35. That one doesn't have a lot of miles on her either. Personally I much prefer the pre 1950 94 carbines with the longer forend.

My 1st Contribution

Hi,

Big fan of this thread, finally got somewhere nice while looking for black bear to take some pictures of my new to me Savage 99C in .308. Hiked up a logging road to the very top, looks like a forest fire burned everything down, it was really eery up there and super quiet. Lots of signs of bear and deer though.

This gun is a dream to carry at the receiver, it fills your hand and the smooth contours are easy to grasp. I like it more than the Marlin/Winny slab sided receivers. It balances well too and comes to the shoulder quick. No scope for this rifle, maybe a peep sight on the back, but with the stock iron sights, this rifle was plenty accurate for hunting.
