Lets see some PE90 Swiss Arms photos...

just picked up my latest swissrifle.

18" carbine, but with the original iron sights, not the flat top version.

The AR and the FNC belong two friends of mine

No issued weapons, these are all privately owned.

As far as I know the swiss army only uses the "normal" 551 with the shorter barrrel. The 18"-version is rather rare over here till a couple months ago, when a couple of them showed up.

Right now I think that I've finally found the best set up... almost.

- Rooster33's new rail
- Leupold 1.5-5x20mm SPR reticle MR/T scope
- Leupold mk4 std height 30mm rings (ARMS#22 rings still to be tried)

With a Schmidt und Bender short dot, I guess you could call that the deluxe set. (oh yes, nice silencer too!)

Thanks. Actually that's just my teaser set-up :)
Short Dot is bit too heavy and clumsy for the CQB model imho, and in real life I use it with my 551.

And the exception proves the rule :)

Very nice none-the-less ;)
Here is my meager offering

Get some lower rings on there and really make that rail work for you ;)

Yes Andrew, you're right
But until I find some optics, I'm reluctant to buy any more rings - have you tried your ARMS rings? Do you like the Leuoopy MR/T on your rifle?

I've used the MR/T with both std leupold mk4 rings and ARMS #22 low rings. Both worked well but I liked the ARMS as they are quick detachable with no tools so that the irons can be used. I traded the MR/T off the other day, I did like it but wanted something else for another rifle more at this time so it went. It would be a great combat scope I suspect but in future I'd like something with more mag like maybe the new 2.5-8x MR/T. I also like the 3-9x MR/T on my AR but the eyerelif is too short on he SIG for me.
