Lets see some PE90 Swiss Arms photos...

Those photographs are tempting me. I need such a rifle but does it come with a coffee bean grinder in the butt?
Is the barrel twist for longer heavier bullets or just the fifty-five to sixty grain variety?
If the barrel needs replacing how can that be accomplished?

The Benneli semi-auto shotgun I saw today is 2K and also tempting. For years now I have always wanted the SIG. Should I, could I and how can I purchase such a frightfully expensive bullet thrower and justify it to my conscience? Lay away possible?

Can the non-flat top be scoped easily or are their problems with drilling and tapping for rails etc?

The Shooting Edge, just got them in- I believe they have one left for $699.
I just installed it so I haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet, but just testing it around the house I really like the vertical grip (Bobro QD). It does add a bit more weight to an already front heavy rifle- but I placed the grip just far enough that I am still able to tuck my supporting arm in to the body. Because of the weight factor I don't think I'll be adding too many more accessories-maybe just a detachable bipod. It also appears to have quite a bit more ventilation than the stock forearm.

Hey Nickorette that setup looks vaguely familiar :D. Even the rings.
Which magnification and reticle did you get for the Zeiss Conquest?

I got a 4.5-14X with a Z800 reticle. I woud have gone with the larger scope but the 6.5-20X had a 50 yard min. parallax, while the 4.5-14 had a 30 yard one, which is better for my uses.

Other than the scope magnification, our set up is exactly the same. :D

Hahaha. Yup. I have to admit I did see a target model PE-90 at the store with the same rings and the 4.5-14x Zeiss Conquest before I got mine. It's an excellent package.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play around with it. Should be doing some load testing pretty soon.

Nice. Let me know if you find a good load. I picked up 2 lbs of varget and some 64 grain winchester bullets, so I'm going to see how that goes. I'm ordering some once fired brass today.
