Lets see some PE90 Swiss Arms photos...

I don't know how are you guys using those ASOGs and Elcans without cheek piece.

Is not bad at all for me , i can shoot very tight groups.. But im a big guy , 6'5 250 ... I would never pay $300+ for a swiss cheek piece ,, may try a airsoft copy .. But were not talking about a precision or bench rest rifle here! .. Its more than a good enough setup for a service rifle..

I suppose if you want the mags set up that way you can always ditch the bipod?

Kind of like throwing away the Joker from that deck of cards in your backpack to save weight.

I think these things are awesome!!! Here is my Classic Green, new to me, and it's first time to the range. I am very impressed with the Green, folks on this forum weren't joking when they say the Classic has been very thoughtfully designed. My only criticisms; first, the iron sights aren't the greatest for 100m shooting (I resorted to holding low with the 200m irons) and second, using the bipod seems to change the POI. My favorite feature; the trigger!!! All in all, this is the first firearm that I've owned that feels like it's the real deal (hard to explain, but basically it feels like a complete package ... no need to change bits and pieces to make it "better").

Congratulations on your purchase of a fine firearm! Regarding the sights, the 100m notch is meant to be a quick close up battle sight/night sight setting. You were right to use the 200m peep. I have mine zeroed with the 300m peep perfectly dialed in at 300 meters, hits a 12" gong no problem at that distance. This way the drum is on at 200m and 400m when turned to its respective settings for those ranges. Just don't shoot so close lol(100m), its a Swiss Arms after all:D

As for the bipod, take it off and put it in storage. The barrel is not free floated and pressure will affect it, Kampfhamster will tell you the same thing. Either support it just in front of the mag with your hand or a rest. I prefer to shoot grasping the top of the magazine with the magazine resting on the ground. The Swiss mag design is very strong with its outside magazine lips and locking mechanism, you cannot hurt it so no worries.

Hope this helps and enjoy your new toy.

I think I read somewhere on here that a strip of Velcro can be used to protect the side of the receiver from brass marks. Any reports on how well it protects the brass? The AE stuff I was shooting mostly came out unscathed but if I'm going to take the time to reload and do case prep etc. I don't want the Green to smash up my brass.
