Let's see some pics of your Pimped out Troy PAR

Anyone notice a little play between the upper and lower? Mine has about a millimetre of play, I wonder if an an accuwedge will fit it?

That is not a considerable amount of play but I will check later for you.

Yes the accuwedge fits and delivers the identical results like in an AR15. I closed the receivers and it has a good tight result, however my set was good to begin with and find it odd yours is loose.

So I did some messing around, added two canted rails and moved the Troy sights to them. I guess it defeats the purpose of having the quick detach scope mount but I'm kind of liking the look and function of them.

What do you think? Should I put it back the way it was?

I also picked up a couple 20 round pmags and put them in an old 80,s era mag coupler. Seems pretty sturdy, guess it should be its steel.

you a lefty clark?

the offsets are nice for run and gun, or that time that coyote wanders in 40 yards to the left of your stand where your hunting buddy "swears they never will show up there because it's downwind and hes called it a thousand times and never had one do it" and your scope is sitting on 10 because you're thinking they are coming in from across the frozen lake and you're left fumbling like an idiot.

I say if they work for you, leave em.

That's what I was thinking when I put them on just in case of a close encounter. I go out to some pretty remote places in my Polaris RZR to do my thing, and by the time I popped the scope off which would most likely go flying knowing me I'd be over run by whatever decided to dine on me.

Yes I'm a lefty, and have the psychosis to show for it.

My parents were cousins, I'm also colour blind, dyslexic, deaf, and have OCD.

I can though lick my eyebrows so I was always a hit with the ladies.

Getting back into topic sort of I picked up a magpul MVG front grip

But I had to take it off because it was binding between the rail and the forearm. When I pumped the gun it would bind and there was very noticeable resistance.

Anyone have this issue as well?

Here's mine with a Rainier Arms Match .223 Wylde Barrel. I had a bunch of problems with the factory barrel not cycling so I had to replace the barrel, I'm glad I did though. Cleaner chamber and bolt now.
I found that the magpul qd paraclip adapter was the only qd that would fit in the qd hole.

Barrel install was pretty easy, but I have most of the tools to do it and have built a few AR's too. For the gas port, I put on a low profile gas block on backwards. It was a tight fit and blocks the hole. You need to use a barrel with a mid length gas port or longer to clear the pump action sleeve, If you weld the gas port closed then it doesn't matter.
