The 425 was a neglected farm gun that needed some TLC. It wasn't looked after, but it did not have a lot of shells put through it. The barrels cleaned up nicely with some time, a microfibre cloth and G96. (no re-blackening required) Fortunately, most of the scratches on the stock were cosmetic and the fibres were not punctured. The checkering did need attention and cleaning. The internals were full of farm dust and needed a good cleaning. I have added a before picture of the stock to give an idea of the original condition.
 
That's very nice Victory XC, you done good. Farming must pay better where you are than anywhere I've lived, I've never heard of a Beretta farm gun, just shaky old Belgian hammer guns and rusty single shot Cooeys.

I am in Ontario now, but grew up in small town Saskatchewan. No Beretta's on the farms where I grew up either.

Custom order 1904, 12g 2 3/4” chambered BHE.32” the very last B grade made with titanic steel barrels. Original wood restored by Stillwater restorations. It letters to a notable Canadian.
