Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Here is one of my more recent acquisitions:

A J.B. Warrilow 16 bore boxlock built on a Bonehill "Clip Lump" action. It sports 30 inch barrels and weighs 6 lbs.

I have a CG Bonehill that was built somewhere between 1897 and 1907 it has 2 1/2 inch chambers and is not very pretty but it fits perfectly and I have found out the hard way it’s hard to find a shot gun that fits your purpose and your body.

I went on a bit of a buying binge over a 14 month stretch that ended this past March. For the most part, the guns have some inherent similarities. They are all vintage SxS, most from between 1920 and 1930 with one from the 1890s and one from 1912. They are all relatively long barreled small bores. 5 are 16 gauge and one is a 20 gauge. Most are Germanic in origin with one American. Two will get retocked (the Fox and the Daly) as their quality warrants it and their current stocks are a mess. The others are just fine. Didn't mean to go on a buying spree......they just kept appearing. LOL

They are:
A H Fox Sterlingworth 20 gauge with 30" barrels
Simson & Co 16 gauge with 29.5" barrels
Husqvarna 310 AS 16 gauge with 29.5" barrels
Ferlach Guild 16 gauge with 29" barrels
Greifelt 16 gauge with 29" barrels
Lindner made Charles Daly Featherweight 16 gauge with 28" barrels.

Wow, thats a buying binge all right... and some nice purchases too!

Funny how that works, I've purchased some guns recently because they were cheap and I have the intention of flipping them but I have an itch to buy a keeper and nothing is turning up. Should just stop looking I guess.
