How was your experience with them? This is my first.
I have been dealing with them for some time; rifles, this shotgun, reloading components for my 9.3 x 62 98 Husqvarna. Mauser I got from them. All great experiences; shipping is fast, communication is always clear. They are very efficient for being as busy as they are. I am glad they are part of our shooting community.

Great to hear. Mine shipped this am.

My newly acquired J.p.Sauer & Sohns sxs 12 g, straight grip, 2.5" chambers. Krupp barrels., 29.5" Very minor pitting in bores. Action tight on face. Choked imp cyl and imp mod, its not museum quality but...definitely a great upland bird gun. I believe its a model 11 ( 1906 manufactured )...the cocking indicators rotate when gun is opened/cocked the word for safe is gold leafed and in germanic text. I absolutely love the skeleton plate.. Id love to know more of the proofs if anyone has experience deciphering the German ones.

Can’t help you on the proofs as I can’t find my proof book. They would be from the Suhl proof house. But that’s one fine gun, Hunterrod. I’m a little partial to the smaller gauges but that will take pheasant and sharptail wit the best of them.

Another 1 i picked up not long ago. 16 gauge 67mm chamber ( 2 9 /16 ") 28" full and imp cyl
Very tight,
MANUFACTURE D'ARME TULLE. ( MAT ) has chopper lump barrels. Clean bores..tight.. Nice wood, very light gun.

GE GOLD, SXS 12 gauge , boxlock, originally a 2.5" chambered gun. Built 1908, by manton & company in calcutta, Ge Gold was an associate of the company, the gun was re sleeved in 1972 by a gunsmith in London to 3" , note the 12LC Marking ( long chambers ) re proofed to 1 1/2oz loads, a factory reinforcement lug was installed in the wrist. Guns as tight as a bankers vault, greener cross bolt , 28" barrels bores spotless . bone forend tip. Chokes are imp cyl and mod. The silvers recoil pad adds a nice touch, gun weighs around 7.5 lbs

May have posted it in past but the pride of my collection, formerly owned by LondonShooter ,Army & Navy sxs 12g, upland gun, hammerless sidelock non ejector, damascus ( 3 blade crolle)
Tight as a drum, one bore open cyl one modified,
27.5" barrels 2.5 " chambers , this gun was built by P Webley & Sons London, before they merged with " Scott " to become Webley & Scott London. Was emailed by. A gent in U.K. who said best of his knowledge the gun was built around the 1893 mark for the army & navy cooperative, he had records for army & navy he got from the university of glasgow . ive fired it with black powder and pyrodex loads and it shoots like a new gun. Video can be seen on my youtube channel " RODS VINTAGE GUNS N GAB" They really should make damascus barrels again LOL.

I happened to be looking up German proof marks. Your thought that DOM was 1906 fits with the stamps as far as I can see.
There was no proof law until 1891 so a gun with proofs has to be more recent than that. Date codes were required in 1922 although sometimes used earlier than that, so your gun without date code would be proved before 1922.
Crown over U means passed 2nd proof.
Crown over N means Nitro Proof.
Crown over S means smooth bore
Crown over W means choked bore.
Your chambers are 12 gauge. Both left and right bores (9" from breech face) measured as 13/1 I.e. if in still in proof will be 0.719 to 0.728". This means that the original bores were tighter than an nominal 12 ga ( a 12 would be 0.729 to 0.739)
The actual smokeless load proved and the rated powder are shown - I think that's what that is and maybe in grams- but I don't know how to decipher the details.

Here's a new one for me in 16 ga. Very interesting gun that came in fairly decent condition but covered in grime. Will post more pics after this dirty fraulein is more presentable. A few weeks maybe.

Sauer has 29.5" barrels which seems odd but Germany had adopted metric in the 1870's. I guess it was logical for them to use 75cm barrels rather than 30"

Showed the gun to Oskar Kob, " well now you have a fine gun there, that is not a plain model, it was a higher end gun especially with the skeleton butpad and the small frame" also he said the rib has the image of a shooter, that was reserved for higher grade guns, krupp barrels also were on higher level guns also the gold inlaid safety in Germanic script.....id like to add.. This gun is made like a 16...SMALL...as i had a 1957 built Jp SAUER.and much heavier..,
Im considering having him restore the case colors and rust blue the barrels. He considered it a worthy restorative piece. He also said straight gripped guns were usually higher quality

I have a Sauer sidelock 12 ga from about 1895. It has a very delicately sized action. Could easily be mistaken for a 20 gauge. Was interested to learn they had two sizes of sidelocks and they made 12 gauges on both. Not surprising it's true with the boxlocks. I'm pretty darn sure Lindner sourced his boxlock action castings from Sauer and his actions come in a few sizes. I have a nice little 20 gauge Lindner Daly. Very petite action. And a friend has a 12 gauge that is built on the same sized action. That one is the smallest 12 gauge action I have seen. The owner, someone incredibly familiar with guns as he is a sxs gunsmith, mistook it for a 16 even after he had bought it. Wasn't until he got it in his shop that he realized it was a 12.
