Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

I "borrowed" this from another bulletin board. It worked for me.

If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.

From the records which aren't complete as they only show the barrels being started in 1882 and 36 inches long but no further information
The gun ended up being retailed by W.G Rawbone in Capetown and barrels are now 32 inches long so chokes are removed
From what can be gathered the barrels were shorten and reset and likely regulated for ball before it shipped, as the muzzles are together with no space between the barrels
The gun is in original condition with bores of .995 and is for 4 inch brass cases and being a 4 bore sold in Africa it could of been used for dangerous game or bird hunting but not the long shots that 4 bores are noted for since the chokes are removed. The weight of the gun now is 19 pounds
The gun handles surprising well for the weight and size of it but i have not fired it yet with any luck this summer
John

4 lbs, 9 oz. .410 Belgian guild gun. For when the squirrels attack. Broke my no-new-guns resolution 1st day of the New Year.
Attempts at resistance were futile!
