Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Thanks for the positive comments. It sure makes it a lot easier when you start with a nice piece of wood.

Very nice Patrick. Love the colour of the wood. Naturally that or did you use some alkanet?

I used a very light coat of a diluted water based walnut stain just to even out the areas that I had to sand a bit more than others.

Double guns with straight grips sure are classy.
What are those stamps on the barrels, just above the chambers?

The stamps are the Geco logo (Large G with the rest in smaller font.

Let's revive this thread. This gun I just received. No fancy engraving, just another working class gun. This gun was listed for some time on the EE with no takers. I think maybe because it was advertised with a chip in the forearm. Anyhow, I have been known to gamble on guns, lol, so when the price was right I figured 'what to heck" and bought it. Well, I was shocked with the overall condition of this gun. It is a Liege United Arms and was made in 1935. The case coloring and the condition of the wood are fantastic. The bluing is around 98%. Bores are great and the barrels ring crystal clear. The action is bank vault tight. It even came with the case and a very old cleaning kit. The chip in the forearm is very small, much smaller than pics made it out. While this is not a top end gun, you couldn't begin to touch the quality it does have for $1500.00 today. Lots of life in this like new old gun and it fits me very well.

Nice looking gun and in very good condition, still has most of the case colors. Should serve you well for a long time.

Will it be possible to see some pics of the proof marks.

Fox family picture day. Was hoping for an overcast sky but figured what the heck. Some at different stages of restoration. Sterlies to the left of me, graded to the right. Here I am, stuck in the middle with you. ;)
