Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
If I read one more thread on CGN about somebody's "tactical shottie" and blowing up milk jugs with slugs I think I was going to scream.
It's so nice to be reminded that there are a few Gentlemen on this site with good taste and discernment, who appreciate fine hunting firearms as works of functional art!

Post some pictures longwalker, lets keep this one going.

I like :D. 25in bls just perfect for Grouse/Woodcock in Ontario woods coupled with 2 1/2in, 28gr Gamebore shells to somewhat simulate a 20ga ;)

Here's an old #4 12ga, 28in, choked M/IC ....

IMHO, as cost efficient entry level field model side-by-side shotgun, the CZ Bobwhite represent great value via a remote attempt to mimick the traditional English/Spanish Upland game gun. I own both 20/28 and reach for those more often as I really like 'em.

I like the CZ and it is definately and entry level side by side. I do find it a bit tiny for my build but it does work well in tight cover. A longer barrel option would be nice but for under 1000.00 you cant go wrong. I'll keep saving for that AYA # 4 i've been dreaming about.

Nice pics guys keep em coming!

Mark, I have a Westley Richard also made for J L Rawbone, by the factroy records mine was made in 1881 and only locks on the rib extention. It is not a good as yours and is a 10 bore. the rib was marked made expressly for Rawbone and the action is marked Westley Richards. Somebody over the years has taken the Rawbone name out of the rib and filled the space with brass.

rthook my Pardox I have had for years and have shoot it a few times, with unique powder and the proper bullet it shoots decent but I have not spent enough time with it, I would like to use it deer hunting one of these years so need to spend some time.

I understand it can be a challenge to regulate. Have you tried blackpowder?
Nathan

Mark that must have been a hard one to let go. Hope it went to a good home.

The 28 gauge I'd always wanted, and got last year. A CSMC, RBL 28

It does get used, no residing in the safe!

be2man how much does it cost on top of CSMC price to have the gun in your hands? If you don't mind me asking. If you don't want to tell thats ok.

This is the best SxS thread in a long time. Some beautiful guns here, it warms my heart! I guess I'll have to play along.

Sharptail

That last pic's a little "over the top" Sharptail! Unfortunately if I had that many SxS's it would excede my ability to keep them under my wife's radar and I'd lose half in the divorce :(

rthook, I was fortunate to order in May '08 when the dollar was close to par and before Questar's fee went up alot. I went thru Questar and paid a $200 import/paperwork fee, the GST on about $3400 U.S. and about $75 shipping from Barrie, Canada Post.

Do you know what the fee is now?

HALLELUJA! I have grown so tired of "tactical shottie" threads myself this is like a breath of fresh air.
Here is my Tobin 12 ga. I restored it myself with a recut of the checkering, London oil finish, ultrasonic cleaning and a re-rust blued the barrels myself. I also had it opened to Skt1 and Skt2 and had the forcing cones removed (I know some of you are cringing) but hey...its a shooter.

This is my Ugartechea 20 ga that I bought from Lion Country Supply back when the dollar went to par. I imported through Questar when the fee was lower. Its 6lbs 2oz, 27"barrels choked Cyl and IC. I love it and its a shooter too!
