Left:
New Production Ithaca 37 Defense
Bone stock except for S&J rail and some minor shell stop tinkering to make it feed perfect.
Right:
1950's 870 Wingmaster receiver
Factory 18" barrel, IC Rem Choke.
Factory +2 extension.
Have the matching walnut buttstock with a plate but prefer the nice pad on this installed laminate stock.

PAINTED IT WITH KRYLON CAMO GREEN AND CLEAR MATTE LACKER TO PROTECT IT FROM THE ELEMENTS (IT'S MY OUTDOOR CAMPING INSURANCE).
I'M GOING TO HAVE THIS ONE COATED IN DARK OLIVE GREEN ARMACOAT ONCE I FIND A PROPER S&W 2-SHOT EXTENSION TUBE FOR IT.

WHILE RESTORING THESE, I SENT A MESSAGE WITH PICS TO CHOATE MACHINE & TOOLS FOR REPLACEMENT RECOIL PADS AND M. CHOATE SENIOR PERSONNALLY PHONED ME, SAYING HE'LL SEE WHAT HE COULD FIND IN HIS PARTS BOX AND ASKING IF I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A CHEEK REST TOO! :)
WHEN I RECEIVED THE PARCEL, THERE WAS A "NO CHARGE" STAMP ON THE DELIVERY BILL... :cool:

Oh, it's been a while. Bought two from a CGN member in B-C then a got a third one from another CGN member for a friend that had seen the first two and wanted one.
They are a very sturdy rendition of the Rem 870 with some modifications to the shell stop and shell ejector; these are pivoted machined parts with coil springs underneath instead of a riveted piece of flat spring.
They were manufactured by Howa Gunworks for S&W; of course, none of the parts interchange with 870 Remmys.

Been drooling over this thread forever, so finally getting over my tendency to procrastinate and post my contribution.

12.5" mag fed Grizzly with ghost ring sights, Hogue forend and AR grip, Mesa Tactical adaptor, Rock River stock and a SOG sissy pad (for those light days). Just missing a sling!

 
Had to do something with the H1 now that the ACR is gone, the highest cheekrest is necessary and it even seems a little low but it's not zeroed so it should be fine... Cannot wait to try that ;)

 
Latest addition. Still going through testing, but so far, so good.

It may, or may not (I refuse to either confirm or deny) happen to accept magazines from a mag fed pump gun of a different manufacturer, subject to manual action mag caps ;)

Progress on my 590A1!
Mesa Tac top rail and side saddle, stock adaptor, Vltor stock, Magpul grip and pump, Bushnell TR25.
I've got a UTG low profile rear sight coming to replace the sight I removed, after that I just need a sling.
