old bird gun restored and internal parts upgraded into an old school tacticool
No original parts where harmed in this transformation! She can still be put back to all OG in a minute.
Did you do a TruOil or DB Linseed oil treatment to these? I'm thinking about doing the same.

Mostly stock FD12 with 10rd AS46 mags. Got some goodies coming for it soon.

Nothing crazy but my first build nonetheless! Old school Wingmaster receiver, Hogue stocks, Tacstar 6 shot saddle, S&J +2 and Tungsten Cerakote by Cdn Tactical Finishes. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Just need sling mounts and a XS front sight.

Just waiting on the 6 shell side saddle. Should hopefully have it this week, then its out to pattern it. Voodoo Tactical Breacher Shotgun Scabbard and a generic 25 shell pouch, both from Amazon.
I am super impressed with the fit and finish on this gun. It seems way better than my 10 year old Remington 870 when it was new.

Here is my shoty finally finished. It has taken years and lots of trial and error but I couldn't be happier with it. Last part of the project was fixing the crummy 870 finish and I think it turned out well... Not exactly black or green but feel it's still iconic.

Photobucket is such garbage, they show up bigger here than they do on their website! Shows up about the size of a postal stamp on my 4k monitor.

This is my hiking/scouting shotgun so weight is a consideration. I removed the +2 factory extension and it carries and points much better. I really wish I could source a 14" barrel with these sights, but for now the 18.5" will do.
