How is this any different than the truck guns that many people carry every day behind the seat? Look in the Firearms Act at the section about transporting a non-restricted firearm. It must be unloaded, nothing more. Ammo can be transported loose with no issues and must only be locked up in storage at your dwelling.

Mark

Wrong, ammo does not have to be stored in a locked container...Ever.

Out of the box I don't think there are many combat/defence style shotguns that can compare. The Fabarms scream of quality, and are very light and smooth. I added the recoil pad spacer as I am a big guy and needed a little more length of pull. The SP sling and mount are gravy. In short I love it.

The only thing I don't like is the long forearm rubs the receiver when cycled leaving marks in the finish. And since I like to grab near the rear of the pump, it seems to make it worse. But that is a relatively minor problem in the scheme of things, and can always be refinished if needed.(or protected as others have done)

x2

Bought my SDASS Nickel in June, and have been shooting regularly. Love the tight and smooth fit and finish. Not bad at clays for a 20" barrel too, at least until I can afford that Axis Oiled O/U. I've pulled several high-teens and one 20 with it. ;)

It has the pistol grip and heat shield so folks say it looks tactical, but I don't consider it a tactical rifle. Just a bear gun. Maybe I'll take a pic later...

Mossberg 590A1 (Mossberg item #51663)
Speedfeed IV stock
2x Tacstar 6 shell side saddles
No name nylon sling.

This is Triela. She's not fancy, but she's my most trustworthy, my best of the best in a "tactical" shotgun. I'd never take any other brand, model or type of shotgun over this one.

Well, I just posted it in the other tactical shotgun pics thread, but I just "finished" it tonight and I"m pretty happy about it right now :) First shotgun build.

Here's my fabarm martial 14", It came with the knoxx non recoil reducing stock so I added a limbsaver grind to fit - medium recoil pad, fits great with no grinding necessary. Sorry iphone shots

Man, with all the tactical shotties, I gotta post up more pics of my M4s90 :D

Benelli M4 super 90 shotgun:
- Aimpoint Micro T1 with ADM low mount
- Custom modified FAB Defense railed forend
- custom made fibreglass cheek piece (with synthetic leather skin! :D ) Made this myself! :D
- Mesa Shureshell carrier attached Via double sided tape that I always brag about :p
- Custom "semi-short" stock position, with about 11" LOP. Great for cold weather shooting and thick clothing!

Pic showing the custom made cheek piece. 6 layers of fibreglass cloth. Its MUCH lower than the factory one, and you can easily use iron sights with the stock in the semi-short position I have it in. You can actually use the red-dot with the stock fully collapsed.
Also, cheek piece has zero comb, so even with 3" magnums there is zero stock slap :D

Showing the modified FAB Defense forend. I cut the whole top rail section off. Added JB Weld (able to withstand up to 300 degrees C) to build up the sides around the barrel. Its ROCK SOLID, even without the bottom screws. Even more so than the factory forends. Its a little taller (covers more of the barrel) and gives it a little bit beefier a look. More comfy than the factory guards, and even with no gloves the polymer rail on the bottom is nice to hold onto. Not sharp at all and it gives a nice grip, no bite!

What happens when technology doesn't work around me :D

This thing has pretty much reached the Pinnacle of what I personally think a tactical shotgun is! :D (aside from the limited mag capacity :p )
