Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

How does that bad boy handle with the Eotech and pistol grip?

if its the same brand of eotech clone Ive got, not so good. The eye relief was a bit sensitive, the reticule gets bigger as eye relief increases and at arms length you need a cheek weld otherwise it wanders around when you move your head. With a better sight it would be great, alot faster than the bead

IMHO, the only practical accessory for any of these, would be a Surefire fore-end, with a good tactical light.
Then take that money for a red dot sight, and buy more ammo.

Edit: The lower one was built up by Ron Sharp for me, with his last slabside receiver from the old M37's! (and yes it does slamfire)

Finally got my Nordic +2 extension and picked up a vortex strikefire from a local shop, I could have bought an M4 for what I have into the Supernova now :D

Very nice! I just bought my first M37 and it is already my favorite shotty.

Here's my work in progress.

Older Remington 870 Express magnum 12 gauge. 20" Improved cylinder barrel (bought that on the EE was in bad shape so it's going) with iron sights. Stocks are Remington synthetic with Supercell pad and the rear and Remington LE on the front, S&J Jumbo safety, sling mount and +2 mag extension with follower and spring. My plan is to replace the barrel with another IC 20" barrel, ghost ring sights, a Mesa 6 shell carrier and arma-coat it all green.

Quick question...how stable are those shells in that sling? I am looking for the best sling possible for my 870 tac and i feel that the shells would be constantly falling out. I must know:confused:

For all my slings that have 'shellholder loops' I use a Q-tip with 'clear silicone bathtub caulking' and just swirl a small amount in the loop. It gives the shell a little bit of traction/holding power to keep the shell from falling out of it's holder, it won't keep you from drawing the shell when you need it, 'been doing this for years. The silicone stays stable even down to cold temps. and it doesn't break down or crumble with age, some shell loops get real droopy and just about unusable, this should help.

First off, thats an awesome setup.

Secondly, where did you find a surefire 318 / how much?
And did it install on the grizzly with no problems? Its my understanding that most grizzly's have a slightly larger diameter forend tube which makes installing aftermarket stuff difficult.

edit: Oh, and whats the OAL when fully collapsed?

I couldn't resist the decal on the Pelican 1700 case

Wilson Combat front and rear ghost ring sights with Trijicon inserts (done by Casey at Tactical Ordnance. Can't say enough good about this guy - fantastic service yet again)

I really liked how the Mesa sidesaddle installs, feels real solid.
Loving the SF forend though it'll take quite sometime until I get a real feel for the momentary switch in order to not keep setting it off when I grip the forend (BAD, civvie negligent discharge) I'm thinking maybe of gluing a strip of velcro hook or loop to it for the distinctive feeling.
The Hogue stock is a nice fit for me but I'm pretty sure I'll be switching to a Speedfeed IV-S. That pistol grip feels alot faster and points just so much more natural.
As for the sling, I bought a VTAC padded 2 point but decided to go with a one point. I just didn't find it a good fit for me even with the buttstock adaptor.
I'll add pics when it's Arma-coated (Coyote Brown and Matte black scheme).

Thanks for the compliment! I got the Surefire from Casey/ArwenAce at TacOrd. It was a special order, but was worth the wait. Cost was just shy of $400. I'll check the OAL tonight at home. There was no problem getting it on, which was a relief to both myself and Casey. I really wasn't looking forward to having to have it modified. The Speedfeed it replaced did need to be modified.

OAL is ~31" collapsed.
