I put this one together from parts n bits I picked up. The 870 recever, knoxx stock and rhino rail I picked up on the ee here, the +2 mag extention was in the surplus room @ Milarm, I bought the 18" barrel new , the laser, holo sights and mbus are all from eBay.

how do you like the mbus sights? i have been thinking of getting them.

Picked mine up today 100% inspired by the first post in this thread. Can't wait to take it to the range and shoot some clays with it. Or try at least. I also picked up a super cheap box of target loads, and had a happy surprise when I got home and found out the were all PINK. Pretty cool. Plus I unwittingly supported breast cancer awareness.

I got 250 rounds, 10 boxes of 25 for $64. That's just over half what you paid a box, 6.40$? I also didn't mention that the 10 boxes were in a minimally marked big cardboard box, so i didn't know they were pink until I got home that's where the surprise came from.

Love the Docter! its little weight, compact and great for shooting. as for the light mount, it is a Blam4 M4 mount "brownells sells them"

i have a remington 870 deer, which i dismantled, and mounted a Ati stock and forend.
its a 4 shot tube, with factory adjustable sights. it has a side mount site rail, and a 40mm 6x scope with tactical quad hex bolt rings. Its got a simple browning sling, and a pachmayer slip on decelerator pad ontop of the factory recoil pad. (remington factory pad)
Its not shown in photo, but its also got a Nstar 20mm tube laser mounted in front of the mag tube.

all in, gun, stock, scope, mount, rings, gunsmithing time, laser, laser mounts, and recoil pad... it cost me 528 bucks to build this rig.

this is my dedicated 12 gauge hunting rig. slug/buckshot only. its small, and light, and is about 2" groups at 50 yards, (brenneke slugs)

im very happy with the ati stock. it makes my shotty what is it today.

not much, just a 88 with the ATI folding stock on it, nice and mobile for if someone is breaking in and I can fold the stock out and bust clays

Limbsaver has a pad that fits the M4 type stock. I just picked one up at P&D. I haven't tried it yet, but I have had great luck with them on the rifles I've put them on.
