i love shotguns. at this point, with a few exceptions, nearly every popular 870 accessory has passed through my hands. where i used to be thinking 'what can i add to my shotgun?', nowadays more often than not im thinking 'what can i take off?'.

Hey all~ Check out my NEW SAT-8!

Since the beginning of time I've longed for a folding semi-auto 12gauge... well, TSE's latest sale was enough for me to take the plunge and risk putting one together.

I'm happy to report everything fit perfectly :D ...as far as the internet goes, this is probably the FIRST pic of a folding SAT-8 in history.

Is it a 4+1 Semi Auto? Is that a mag tube extension and is it blocked?

As expected, it is plugged as per our 5 max laws. BTW, I was very happy to see the plugged extension... honestly I was expecting just a cap.

I am the exact same way, long time ago always looking for shotgun accessories and other bs, now nothing looks better than a bare bones basic all black shotgun.
 
Finally replenished my ammo stock and got loaded up!

Feels fine to carry over the shoulder and for a few shots but I'll definitely be unloading it for skeet days

Picture whor'n with addendum.

First off, I finally got around to making a sling. I like keeping things simple and clean.
I also wrapped the stock, just 'cause I think all folding/fixed wire-stocks should be wrapped :)

Correction/Addendum:
This beautiful shotgun holds holds SIX 2-3/4" shells in the tube (i.e. FIVE 3" shells).
The other groovy news is that a 2-3/4" shell can be floated. Toss one in the chamber and it's makes for some major grin factor.

By the way, I threw on an IC(lead)/Modified(steel) choke so it actually becomes practical; I'll take it out for some clay shooting as the weather warms up.

Loving this thing so far. The Fabarm S.A.T-8 is definitely one of the most underatted shotguns out there. So glad I finally dove in (major impulse buy - but had been eyeing one for years).
