Toni Systems pump and bolt release, rounded out with a GG&G bolt handle. The Toni pump handle is lighter than the factory model, enough that the pump will return to battery with manual assist when stood vertical.

Started out as a tac14, upgraded extractor, dog carrier spring, jumbo safety and adjustable timney trigger. Some other do dads and an xs big dot and here we are.
Have a nice walnut birdshead grip for it as well if I need to trim down the length for hiking (fits inside of my backpack nicely)

Here's another new (to me) arrival, a 1956 Ithaca Model 37 Trench Gun clone. I knew this was a clone from the outset, the biggest give-away being the Rubber Recoil Pad versus the Plastic Butt-Plate found on all Ithaca Military (Trench) and Police (Riot) pump-action Shotguns. My suspicions were confirmed when I found an original Ithaca Gun Co 3-Shot wooden Plug in the Magazine Tube during my detailed strip and clean. Plugs would NOT have been included with a Trench Gun back in the day!
This Ithaca Mdl 37 Trench Gun clone most likely started life as a sporting shotgun with a longer 30" Barrel. The Barrel was cut down to the proper 20" Trench Gun length and was fitted with the correct Heat Shield with attachments for the US M1917 Bayonet. Although the Right side of the Receiver bears a "U.S." stamp denoting military Trench Gun service, I suspect that this is just someone's effort to more closely clone an original Trench Gun. The 1956 manufacture date of this Mdl 37 falls between the Korean War and US involvement in the Republic of Vietnam, with the serial number falling outside of the main Military contracting periods.
Regardless of its clone status, this well-preserved (and evidently well-used) Mdl 37 is a beautiful tribute to the Ithaca Trench Guns of WW2, Korea and the Vietnam War. Its blued finish is just fading to an attractive patina along the edges of the Receiver and around the Ejection/Loading Port. The gun is fully broken-in with a buttery-smooth and near effortless pump action.

Another Trench Gun clone, this time a 1947 manufactured Winchester Model 12 shotgun with a chopped 20" Barrel and Heat Shield / M1917 Bayonet Mount. These Trench Guns saw service in WW 1, WW 2, Korea and Vietnam. Production ceased in 1964 as the old-school methods of manufacture from high-quality steel were deemed too expensive to continue. Beautiful shotguns with no Trigger disconnect, so slam-fire capable for "Trench Sweeping".
