Finally someone with the angled foregrip! Im thinking about doing the same but it'll have to wait till after xmas...
Well I took my 870 out today for the first time and I have to say it was wicked fun! The 18.5" bbl is still small enough to be slung on the back and be out of the way and manuverable.
Ran 50 rounds of assorted ammo through her without a single problem. Going back out tomorrow to do it again! Going to leave it how it is for now then start adding stuff as I decide what will work for me.
Just need some buddies to go shooting with now!

Grizzly 12.5" with Knoxx recoil pad, Rem 870P forgrip, and slightly modified Mag Cinch coupler
Kinda heavy fully loaded.
Havent shot it with the mags coupled. Bit of a hand full, and not sure if the top round on the extra mag will stay in under recoil.

I tried my AFG2 on my HP9 14" and to be truthful I really didn't like it at all. It was nice to hang on to to shoot and not bad on the pump backstroke but it really sucked, for me, in the pump forestroke. There's not much to get hold of without changing your grip each way on each stoke. I do have small hands so that could be part of it. This is not meant to discourage you from trying it, just my observations of me trying it.

Thanks for the input, never thought of the forestroke. Im thinking about the agf because I ruled out a vertical grip due to the high profile.

I like it... after you try it out post up how it worked, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd want to know.
I was wondering about exactly that. Trixta, do you find that to be a problem at all?

That looks sweet, looks like you had to cut out a bit of the forend to make it fit, how did you do it and what did you cut out on the inside.
I'm thinking of doing something similar but with a Knoxx Spec Ops stock and this forend instead:

The original it came with chopped a piece of my finger off, so I wanted a forend that was a bit meatier, and the surfire worked out perfectly. I used a dremel and shaved off a lot of the interior. It took a lot of work, it's not perfect, but it worked out for me in the end. I had to shave down the edge to eject the shell, which means you have to keep your fingers low or it blocks the shell from ejecting. Other than that, It feels great in your hand.
I love this gun.
