Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

That looks like a freakin barrett with the bipod.. over-the-top awesome :D ..

p.s i have the SOG Trident in Digital desert with the tan blade .. i enjoy it for what it is

Largely hilarious - I want at least one ridiculous gun like that, and I too have the SOG Trident in desert tan, which oddly enough I got as a best man gift from a wedding.

Here's mine...

12.5 inches of fun.

And rockin' the Pacman shirt, NICE!!!!

Not sure this would truly qualify as tactical, but it's black and short. Lightweight, cheap and good for slugs.

Hey Gideon, how do you find that heat shield sight? I was looking at one as a cheap fix for the crooked bead sight on my Norc, but I keep reading complaints about it sliding forward/coming loose.

Sadly, I had those same problems and ended up taking it off a few weeks ago. It wasn't very accurate since it tended to wobble, and the hardware that held it in place snapped in half, so I ended up just crimping it tight enough that it wouldn't move for a while. The recoil from a 12g will strip the screws and even snap them half while you are shooting if your luck is as bad as mine.

I can't recall the price, but overall your money would be better spent on installing a rail on top to mount a red dot of some sort. The heatshield was a mistake, I got a little caught up in the 'tacticool' thing. If red dots aren't your thing, get a gunsmith to fix your front sight. The ghost ring heatshield will cause far more problems than it solves and you will kick yourself for thinking it was a good idea.

It does look real purdy, and thats the reason I got it. However, I use slugs more than anything else, so the wobly ghost rings were only harming my shooting and I can't risk wasting such expensive ammo these days.

Work in Progress...

During:
- Mesa Tactical Picatinny Side Saddle (GP Tactical)
- Bobcat Picatinny forend rail (SFRC)
- S2AR 6 Position Stock, Pistol Grip, Adapter (SFRC)
- Still waiting on a grip and light
- Still undecided on a sight

After (Barrel is still quite long, getting it cut in a couple weeks and choke added):

Nicley executed!!!

Agreed. grab yourself a mag extension and chop that barrel down. With the long barrel, it's just lipstick on a pig. You have to complete the transformation into full tacticalishness.

Be sure to post pre-op and post-op pictures when you get that barrel snipped.

-870 12.5" barrel 4+1
-DPMS adapter, stock, grip
-Falcon industries ergo forend
-Mesa Tac sureshell saddle mount
