Remington 870P with a Remington 14" factory barrel. Just got it and it's already wearing a Mesa 6rd side saddle, S&J 1 shot extension and an S&J big button safety. Next thing will be a Surefire forend and I think thats about it!

There's a surefire forend for sale in the EE right now. I'll eat the shipping if you tell us all, how much and where to buy a shottie like yours.
I saw the forend in the ee, I'll be trying to get together the funds fast! Looks like a good deal!
As for the 870, a good friend knows someone who works for Remington Canada. Had one in stock, forgotten in the back of a warehouse from what I was told. I jumped on it and got a really fair deal. I had been searching for almost two years for one... And believe me! If there were more, I would've bought them all! I know there's a ton of demand for short shotty's out there.

Did you have to do any modifications to your forend to ensure that the pump doesn't interfere with the mesa side saddle?
yes, he only gets them due to his LEO contracts
Didn't have to do a thing. It came with the short forend that doesn't overlap the receiver. I think all the 870p's and the 870 tactical models come with them now.

The choke tube is a Comp-N-Choke improved modified, and the finish I applied
to the gun is Arma Coat battleship grey. I'm glad that this finish turned out
close to Canadian Navy grey rather than the dark grey the US uses.
I use this as my trap gun.
