Go look in the Swiss Rifles & 858 Confiscation forum, there are numerous threads detailing the victims. Basically all 858's made with a 2007 or later proof stamp are prohib with a couple of exceptions.

It should be on the block under the rear sight. A buddy has a 2012 858 and the stamp is on the LH side of the block. I have a 2011 vz58 and the stamp is on the RH side of the block.

Thanks, definitely not a negative thread, but I'll give 14mm a go.

And what's the going recommendation for a side folding AR stock adapter? I'd like to shorten my profile for transporting, but I like the collapsing stock for year round shooting.
