Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

Another AR'ized VZ.

Magul MOE and riser
Fabdefense grip
Custom billet AR mag adapter
CSA sidemount
Burris PEPR
Viper PST 1-4x
Fabdefense fore end
Mojo Iron sights and Fibre Optic front post
Shift Billet AFG/handstop
Corwin Gill brake

I'd kind of like to do up a retro all wood rifle to keep it company.

Seconded, is there any write up on this?

There is a thread with pics, but it's not a tutorial. Mostly due to dremelling required to cut the frame to fit the rifle. Also required: new (longer) screws for barrel clamps and shims to center the frame around the barrel.

I have all the parts for the mod, just not too hot on adding stuff to the barrel, as my rifle unmodded shoots 2MOA with cheap ammo. I installed the Magpul stock and pistol grip though.

Yeah, I tried that. It doesn't give me enough eye relief. I need a low cantilever mount, but the only ones I've found is PRI (which isn't sold in Canada) and the night force (which is really, really spendy). If you know of another unit that would work I'd be thrilled.

RS Regulate has the lowest rail for Vz. It is an expensive two parts system. The base is for Vz and you can pick the top part to fit your scope.

But I think the scope is not the right one for the rifle to begin with, or you need a casing deflector. My 7.62 ejects almost 12 o'clock up and forward, so i use short prismatic scope to clear the ejection port.

I have a bushnell ar223 1x4 20mm, same length as this one, and it feel like its about an inch too long. Either I put it too far forward and the brass kicks it or I put it to far back and I can't get proper eye relief. I use the longer position on the magpul stock to make up for the lack of eye relief but its not ideal.

I've not had any issues with stove pipes etc. The csa mount I've got on the rifle is super low relative to the dust cover. I'd love one of those RS units as they're supposed to be substantially lighter but I'll not sure they'd help. I think I just need a lower cant mount to keep eye relief. The gg&g 1199 one seems like the cheapest option and is about a half inch lower than the PEPR at 1.125'' but I'm not sure that it's worth it. It's not an awful cheek weld (just a bit higher than I'd prefer) and it's not like recoil is an issue. I mean, it's a braked poodle shooter, not a big bore bolt gun - though I'm sure I'd shoot it better with a lower mount.

Just started playing around with my CSA SA Vz58. I've only put about 150 rounds through it. It has a 7.5" barrel which limits the options for accessories and had I known that before purchasing it I would have purchase one with a longer barrel.

Original configuration.

I found that I got a lot of concussion from the original muzzle break and it was very hard to get a good check weld.

First round of upgrades.

Added:
- Allen Gun Works Linear Compensator purchased on sale from One Shot Tactical.
- Stormwerks Vz58 Stock Adapter Straight Type 3 and a ACE Original Skeleton Stock AKFX 8.5" both purchased from CTC Supplies

Haven't fired it yet but the check weld is much better and aiming is much more comfortable.

I was concerned about ejected casings beating up the sight. I have the same CSA low mount with PA 3x prismatic. BTW, I pulled the trigger on RS regulate with acog mount, as I hate chinwielding. It will supposedly be lower by another inch.

Cool! The colours are a little bright as other have said, but well done! Where did you find model/CAD data for those parts?

i did most of the cad/parts myself , based from a wood sets that somebody lend me a while ago , except the grip , the grip was a file i found online that i had to modify and i made it longer and added the maple leaf on it and groove
