bedliner treatment? what is it/how do I do it, is it better then just kryloning the stock? Your 858 is exactly the look I want when mine is finished

Just don't get it on the barrel or the moving parts. Another thing to keep in mind is that the bed liner will begin to degrade at a much lower temperature then paint. During the SMC Basic Carbine course last summer one VZ with a factory handguard that was painted with bed liner left melted bed liner on my pants after some rigorous drills. The grip was fantastic though. :D

I know i know... im really impatient but is there any pics of this stock for use with irons? Its Christmas eve and I am looking for presents for myself... its terrible.

Bedliner treatment as in from a pickup bedliner?

Any idea of there are other ways to get a nice black polymer finish?
Yep, just regular old pickup bedliner from Cambodian Tire. Works really well and can take a good deal of punishment. The only other method I know is krylon but I doubt it will be as durable. I put about four coats of bedliner on and it is noticeably thick. It ought to take a lot of abuse.

After selling off my battle/Tacticool rifles, I have had an overwhelming urge lately to start buying again........after looking through this thread I think a VZ58/CZ858 might be in the books.............and I have a ####load of Camo paint left over........:D
