And the highlighted portion of your sigline is total BS. Also, defining "unsafe" in a hard and fast manner is difficult and completely open to abuse by the state.

Just taking a break, don't forget my first gun back in the 80s was a Valmet M76, I have a penchant for dirty guns, plus the CSA is a very nicely made gun...the safety is FRACKED though...

I know what you mean...
Thatz the main reason why I never switched to the newer models. Because they thickened the side walls and modified the striker design it left me wondering why they didn't remake the safety instead of using the surplus parts. I mean hell a $1000 plus rifle and a crapy safety like that. Makes me glad I got my 858 back in the day when it was only $500
