I have this pic up earlier in the thread, but will share again for reference (I'd initially typo'ed that as "reverence" - which actually works too
) :
I'm using the railed UHG from Corwin, and a Sig Romeo 5 RDS, which is about the lowest profile RDS I could find, and it just barely doesn't co-witness. I fiddled with it a bit, and could get a co-witness if I raised the front post a fair bit and had it set as a 100 yard zero with the rear tangent at 500meters (IIRC, it might have been 400, or 600). Which is an interesting setup because if you drop the rear to 100 meters it falls out of view.
In the end, I decided to set it back to a regular zeroing arrangement. I'm in the middle of carving a new pistol grip, and am going to leave a cavity to store the Allen Key, in case of a desperate situation in the Zombie Apocalypse and I run out of spare CR2032 batteries and need to revert to Irons and have to remove the RDS.
Other than that, the Corwin UGH is solid. A bit fiddly to take on and off to get at the gas piston for cleaning, but I've mostly solved that by only firing commercial non-corrosive, so I only need to clean the gas system once every, oh... Say about 5 days after the heat death of the universe.
