Lets see some STAG 10 range reports!!

Well, I finally got a chance to get the Stag 10 out to the range and I gotta say that I am impressed. She definitely needs to go on a diet as the 22" barrel is a tad on the portly side and I swapped out the PRS stock to a MOE fixed as the LOP was way to long, but after seeing what it can do I don't think I want to mess with it much and will try and live with the extra weight. All groups were shot at 100yds with Hornady Precision Hunter 143gr ELDx. Forgot to mention that the rifle is in 6.5CM and the only other thing I did was change the buffer to a JP silent capture system, Raptor charging handle and Maple Ridge ambi safety. Optic is a Vortex Viper PST Gen2, 1-6 MRAD in a DNZ Freedom Reaper mount, K2 grip and Heathen brake. I have read a bunch of reports of people complaining about sub par groups, If you feed the machine good food, the machine will run like a race horse.

That's something you'd have to ask stag. If you follow normal business in fa industry, most coys just buy up large lots of whatever meets their product lines. So maybe it is ballistic advantage, maybe it's not.

I can post pictures of the borescope of my barrel pre firing. But i doubt anyone would care since it's hands down the ugliest factory barrel I've ever seen. But it was printing groups acceptabley.

So, who made the barrel doesn't seem relevant.

Which model did you get? Sucks your barrel is bad- my 22" 6.5CM has a super crisp, clean barrel inside and out.

Fantastic groups, going to have to try this ammo.

I see limited utility for me shooting 5 rnd groups off the bench with a hunting rifle that heats up fast. I really only care where shots 1-3 go consistently. Usually just #1. Unless you build a rifle to shoot the same hot as cold you are shooting at a bit of a moving target so to speak.
