Mine was of the same batch as SIR's but bought from Tradeex, I thought the $100 premium was worth handpicking my preferred code. I also splurged afterward and put her in an appropriate stock set (the one it came in was belt sanded to all hell on the butt, and had the wrong style of bands etc.)

I got the stock from a very nice fellow from Holland.
It ran me $175, but I paid a premium for a matching stock/band set in a rare WaA code so as to be appropriate for my rifle. I plan to ebay the old stock to recoup a bit.
I think it's a big improvement over the RC hack job, even though I sacrefices the force matched stock. In my opinion the rifle is closer to correct now than with the RC stock.

Yea, it's going to take the pressure off of my East German K98k as my shooter.
I haven't benched it, but I had no trouble blasting canteloupe sized rocks at 75 or so yards off the shoulder.
I hope to bench it in a few weeks, along with a couple of my .303's

Would really like to hear reports from the range. I fired a relatives VZ24 over the weekend and now I've gotta get a Mauser, but I'm on a bit of a budget. I'm more into a shooter with historical character than a "collector" per say, so a RC may be just the ticket. If these rifles will consistently shoot 2" at 100 yds, I'm sold.

My RC is a Jean Plamondon special! Actually, I ended up re-stocking it.
