Hey all

I just bought a .22 Browning pump from a family member and will be picking it up this weekend so i am looking for some photos to keep the excitment up for 3 days!

Heres the ones used to own............

Winchester 1906

Winchester 1890 (dont mind the .43 Mauser round)

This is the only firearm I really ever regret selling. She was such a nice shooter, very crisp action. Not beat up at all and the bore was "oh-so clean". I swaped the lifter from the 1906 in order to shoot .22 LR, and boy could I really reach out and touch something something. Sadly, I needed money badly and this is where she left me. If I could buy her back and had the money to do so, I'd do it in a heart beat.

It was, and I picked her up for a very fair price. Not that a higher or lower value would have made her anymore or less my fav. But, life goes on eh?

Gunsaholic...everytime I see your pump, I break one of the big 10 by coveting it!

I have a local buddy (non-cyber) who has a Remington pump (pos. model 12?) he got from his grandfather....it's about twice my age and, really worth mentioning here. The front sight is the "finest" front sight I've used...like a needle. The thing shoots incredibly well. No not, "shoots well for it's age" more like "Wholly cats, why don't they make those anymore?" kind of "well"!

I have a friend who has a very nice unmolested Remington model 12 with the octagon barrel and moon shaped buttstock. He got it new as a young lad. He has told me that any day it could end up being mine as I have bugged him enough to sell it to me. He hasn't shot it in years so he said he might as well get rid of it. It requires the Remington "special" ammo or WRF ammo. He also has a very nice Cooey model 75, although he has refinished it. So maybe I will be adding another pump to my collection. I also have a Winchester model 270 pump but I have no pics of it at the moment.

Check out my little collection. First is a Winchester 1890 in .22 short. Made in 1911, all original, below that is a Winchester 62A made in 1942 and below that is a Rossi 62A with an octagon barrel.
