Time for a bump. Finally got everything ready to go, Tacord versa max, Stag arms 3 gun and Glock 17 with TTI internals. Anyone have some good foam cutting tips?

Pick up or build a hot wire cutter. Use some cardboard or art board to build templates for your guns. Spray a light coating of spray adhesive to the back of the templates and/or use pins to keep them from shifting while cutting the foam.

Nice setup! I really fancy a Tacord Versamax but I can't justify it as I already have a Benelli M4. Are they 3" or 3.5" chambers?

It looks like you have enough room to have all 3 guns pointing in the same direction in the case (ie turn the rifle and handgun 180 degrees) which would be preferable when unloading at the safety area. Would make inadvertent sweeping almost impossible. Food for thought.......

This ones a 3.5. I was just playing around with it seeing what worked best, still not sure but that's a good point

Is it stamped 3.5"? I heard recently that there are 3" & 3.5" variants.

Supposedly the 3" variant can still handle 3.5" loads but I`d want the 3.5" because it could legally hold more 2.75" rounds

All VM's have a 3.5" chamber, regardless of the barrel marking.

Remington issued a letter which is floating around on this board stating ALL versamax is designed for 3.5 inch shells regardless of the barrel marking, that would be your legal evidence should the imaginary police come count how many shells you have loaded (as in that will NEVER happen).

See HERE

Edit: Just realized that was for the tactical model, carry on.

Just enjoy your guns while you can, it’s possible within a couple months all semi-auto firearms will be reclassified as prohib category 12.9 by passing of C71, the little potato is supposed to announce something like this on June 3rd when the New Zealand Gun grabber herself comes to a woman’s conference in Vancouver.

Wanna sell me your guns cheap? :)

Updated set-up for 2019...still experimenting with shotgun mag placement.
