Lets See your hunt camp.

Mine is just down there.

Here is one from moose camp this past season with the full moon inthe background. I had another one with the firepit going out front with the moon also but its a bit blury--Lamb's Palm Breeze Amber RUM can do that to a guy @ night. LOL

Great pics guys!

Our deer-camp from the Ottawa valley. Built on the footprint of a crumbling barn, we used the old barnboard to cover the interior walls. Size is 24-feet squared with a loft that sleeps 6. You'll be hard-pressed to find any two identical items (especially silverware...) all furnishings and interior decor supplied by yard-sales and members associated household junk. Not much, but we call it home for one week a year.

Mine is, when not hunting from home, for most of the time called "Best Western Hotel" :)

Otherwise, hunting from my home is very good, with no need to stay in hotels/motels.

What, no bivy sack :D. I bet your glad you had your tent with ya

That's my dad in the pic there: I figured I could go luxurious for him.

Once I got back from that 4 dayer, I headed out with the bivi for four days solo. Fortunately, the weather was more cooperative, and I only got snowed on once (and it was the last day).

Where would one buy an old schol bus? My grandfather did it back in the day and I've always wanted to do the same. Looking at your pictures convinces me even more. Well done!!

One of the guys in our hunt gang (Our "Transportation and Tag Draw Coordinator") saw one for sale, called, but it was already sold. SO, he called around to the local school bus lines and they had a few for sale! We got that baby for 1200 bucks, plus safety, etest etc etc. It only needed a couple small things. Then we re-did the inside as cheaply as possible.

We were staying at Outfitters' prior to having the bus. Now that we've made a couple trips with it, it's already paid for itself.

In Ontario, school busses can only be run for 12 years, so if you call around to the local companies, chances are you can find one....for a good price.

I recommend it!!!

PLUS....It's a hell of a fun trip with the guys!!
