I have owned about 15 or 16 4x4 trucks/hunting rigs over the years. I only have hard copies of my older ones.

These are my last two

Here's my main hunting rig.
I use whatever truck I have at the time to pull it to where I can launch it!
it's done some really BAD weather , high winds, snow, fog, etc.
The motor is supe reliable and never lets me down!
dry weight is 1,000lb.s so it can be launched without too much hassle off a beach, yet strong enough for a mule deer to ski behind!:D

gitrdun, fine lookin' animals!
" live to ride and ride to live" relates to a little more than bikes, says I!
Why not, that is a great canoe!
I guided for more than a few years out of 20' Chestnut, ya gotta love a boat that will pack 'em to the gunwales and still go with a minimum of horsepower!
Sadly, it would be a fight to get where I travel with a freighter these days.

This is my 'newer' rig. A 2004 Ford F-350 Super Duty, Super Cab, 4x4 Diesel. Just starting to 'deck' it out for next season and have added a matching cab height canopy. Grill guard is the next item on the list and looking at a Bigfoot Camper in the meantime.

Don't laugh....it gets me around and it's cheap to run (both of them)!

2001 VW Jetta TDI - great mileage....but most of my hunting is done within 2.0 hrs of my house. My other car is a 2007 Dodge Magnum....no it's not a HEMI :( so it's a glorified staton wagen!!

Here are the old hunting rigs. My blue and white 4x4 in the back has been sold. Now I'm using either a 77 ford F250 4x4, or a 90 Chev Ext. Cab 4x4 with a detroit locker in the back.

Here's my retrival unit - 0~60 in about 5 sec. Top end over 100 mph. Winch mounted under the tarp.

I love that 77 f-250. :) wanna give it to me? lol

The black one is a 79 F-150 Ranger. Truck used to be a show truck with all the chrome, spinning 44" mudders. Then one day, it decided to try doing sumersaults. That was hard on the paint and chrome. It's not plated right now...something to do with an SGI inspection or some such nonsense.

The truck in the rear is an '84 F-250 ext.cab, long box, 4x4 Diesle. It has the independant front end, so it rides like a cadilac.
