Let's See Your M305 Builds!

Looks like Slamfyre is running a standard Poly Tech/Norinco handguard that has been painted probably with a stencil or hydro dipped. Could be wrong, will surely be corrected if so.
Bingo. It's the standard Norinco handguard. Did a tan/khaki base coat first. Then I taped in some mesh from a small mesh bag that held a pair of scuba diving gloves I bought recently. Then I sprayed OD green over the mesh. Thanks for the comments.

I have the archange stock in od green on my new m305 and I installed a new ncstar optics mount (only mount available locally). It seemed pretty solid but I've noticed something that concerns me on it. There is a sleeve to adjust cross parallax for the rail that the outside bolt goes through, the problem is that the bolt is a little smaller than the inside of the sleeve, allowing play on the back of the mount (up/down) if it gets loose at all. I've wondered if recoil would be enough. Anyone else have this mount that can weigh in?

Update on the Build

So I got a CASM-Ex in OD green and installed a rubber armoured compact 3-9x40. Added a .75 FDE cheek riser to the OD green MOE buttstock. Zeroed it in the other day and came back from the mountain happy with the results. This is how it looks now.

I call her bush league. Ha ha. It's no Remington 700, but it is pretty fun for smashing around in the bush here on the Wet Coast. It is particularly nice with E Lander mags. It is hard to imagine a better predator defense rifle.
