Lets see your rifles with peep sights

This is another Oberndorf Mauser Model M with a factory-installed peep. Although this sight also fits over the bolt release, it is German-made, not a Lyman. At the front bottom of the bolt release, you can just get a glimpse of a machine screw set into the wood that provides contact with the bolt release to take any slight movement out of the peep.

This is a cocking piece peep on an English Gibbs Mauser in .280 Ross with two small machine screws on either side of the bolt runway at the rear. Done by Gibbs to provide contacts for the bolt shroud when the bolt is closed, so there is no movement in the peep sight.

I have a couple:
First, my LH Ruger M77 Mk II custom in 416 Taylor; NECG peep and barrel banded front sight.

And I have the same for my LH M77 Mk II in 376 Steyr, although I don't have a pic with the peep sight on it.

And I just purchased an XS Sights Weaver Backup Ghost Ring sight for the pre-81 BLR in 358 Win, that's scope is in a set of QRW rings and bases.

I used to have a Winchester Model 69A with the factory peep on it, but sold it for a regular sighted version, just cause that was what grandpa had gotten us as kids on the farm.
