Miroku Winchester 95carbine 30.06

I dog and sit with my Remington 760 in .308, barrel shortened to 19". I feed it 180 gr PSP Cor-lokts. The Bushnell Elite 3200 1.5-4.5X stays parked on 1.5X ninety-nine percent of the time.

Thick Ontario bush = levergun. I'll take a 1x optic or Irons, I like em both. When headding out I'll usually reach for my Winchester 94 trapper in 44 mag, but I'm not opposed to carrying one of the 30-30s either. I really like carrying the 44 Mag though, I feel bigger with it in my hand lol.

A couple of my choices. Double rifle in 45-70 firing 485gr cast

Or my Ruger Alaskan in 416 firing 400gr.

My tough little Hog Hunter the day I unpacked her.

Never missed a beat, shoots tight, ugly but tough, worth every penny at 479.00 CDN couple of years ago.

Brno model 4 308/12 gauge for when your never know what your going to run into and of course my Stainless Savage 35 remington for again when you never know what your going to run in to

My larger caliber bush guns are a bit shorter than most = single shot T/C Contender carbines with barrels from 14" - 22" chambered in 35 Rem - 375JDJ - 45-70.

Going to bigger longer bush guns I have T/C Prohunters in 22" 375H&H & soon to be shortened to 18 3/4" 45-70 and my Marlin 1895GS in 45-70.

Here is an example my 14" barreled Contender in 375JDJ I load from 220gr to 270gr bullets in this combo.

I have a Marlin Guide Gun on which I swapped the sights for a set of Fire Sights, and a Rossi 92 in 44 Mag with a peep and a Fire Sight.
