Yep, my 3 levers are all straight stock and regular loop.
 
Great guns all, jealous of slamfyres rig.

One in 16 inches would be perfection.

Marlins are great, but there is something to be said about the slim lines of the rossi. Packing a lot of punch too.

Thanks. It is not quite a 45-70 but it can launch out 300 grains at 2000 fps. The full length magazine holds nine rounds + 1 in the chamber.
 
Bush guns...

Marlin 336BL, 30-30Win, with an 18.5" barrel and a 1973 vintage Bushnell Banner 1.5-4x20 scope. This 2014 rifle sports walnut butt and forestocks that were on a 1952 336A waffle top that I had to part out. A previous owner had nicely modified the stocks, I'm sure the forestock would have started life out as a "perch belly".

I have one of these except I installed black/gray laminate stocks on mine I call it my 45-70 Lite shoot from 200gr cast 45 Colt to 405gr WLNGC's in 454 Casull... :)

I turfed the crappy rear sight and installed my buckhorn rear sight off of my Marlin 1895GS instead oh yeah much better.

Here is my ultimate bush gun but it's not just set up for short range I wouldn't hesitate to use it on big game out to 500 yards.

Rem 700 LSS - barrel shortened to 21" chambered in 375RUM = 260gr Accubonds @ 3020fps - 300gr bullets @ 2800fps and 350gr @ 2450fps...

I have NEGC front sight, Leupold QRW scope bases, QRW scope rings and when scope is off I install a rear XS Sights tall Weaver backup ghost ring sight.

Ya it sure does look wrong but the wood on it had cracked and I could not find a replacement.
This make it work don't forget I use this the most duck deer skeet it's my go too gun.
