I used one of those rubberized keymod covers as a deflector. It'll work until the printed deflector shows up.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try using two of those. In the mean time I've got that area covered with grip tape. Hopefully it'll prevent any fleabites from brass ejection

The minimalist look is starting to grow on me... The ACR stock is nice and solid (and foldable) though...Hmmm tough choice.

Does need a handguard that doesn't touch the gas block and is a few inches longer!

That's a sweet setup. I like the minimalist look better than the ACR stock.

Here's an update of the WK with its new little buddy beside it.
While deciding between an angled foregrip and a flat hand stop type foregrip i ended up with a combination of the two that fits my hands just perfect, has a little bump on the backside of the handguard as well. Looks kind of silly but man is it ever comfortable.
I also couldn't decide between the scope or irons and I like to use both but know I probably wouldn't remove the scope as often to use the irons. I went with these offset irons and couldn't be happier. Put a crayon to good use on the Wolverine logo too.
Never really liked FDE originally but i didnt want all the guns looking the same and the FDE has really grown on me.
